Many women requiring an operation for cancer in one breast need a procedure on the normal breast to obtain better symmetry. This is usually accomplished by either a breast reduction, augmentation or by mastopexy (breast lift). Our practice also offers these, and other, procedures to healthy women seeking to achieve an improved breast appearance.

Breast Reduction

This operation makes your breasts smaller, and often improves their shape, and lifts your nipples to a higher position. Women with very large breasts benefit most from this operation, becoming more comfortable with their physical appearance, and gaining more confidence and self-esteem.

Breast Augmentation

This is usually achieved using silicone gel breast implants to make your breasts larger, often associated with an improved overall shape. Women with very small breasts benefit the most in terms of improved physical appearance, confidence, and self-esteem. 

Implant Checks

We offer clinical follow up to women with previous cosmetic breast implants surgery. Our service is focused on the assessment of complications, such as capsular contraction, rippling/palpability of the implant edge, and implant rupture. Revision surgery is considered for these and other complications, as well as for women concerned with implant related ALCL or any other concerns.

Breast Lift   

Also called mastopexy, this procedure re-shapes your breast, lifts your nipple to a higher position, without altering the overall breast size/volume.

Postoperative Breast Deformities and Asymmetry

Some women can develop asymmetry, skin indentations, breast contour irregularities, altered breast shape, and other problems, as result of previous breast surgery and/or radiotherapy. The appearance of the breasts can be improved with one or more fat grafting sessions and/or breast augmentation or breast reduction techniques as needed.

Accessory breast tissue

This consists of a large mass, or fat pad, under the armpit, and can be either excised or treated with liposuction.

Tuberous breasts, or underdeveloped breasts

Often challenging to correct, with a combination of techniques available, including autologous fat grafting,  implant augmentation , and/or remodelling of the nipple-areola.
